ROLE

The ideal candidate will be responsible for development of a Microsoft .NET C# Service Oriented Architecture application that is extremely feature rich and has responsibility to maintain “off-the-shelf” quality standards.  This position will require immediate and extensive knowledge of how to build a scalable charting platform using native methods both on the client and the server.

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical expertise in financial/trading systems architecture, design and development, specifically on the server-side, but not limited to.
• Strong Microsoft technology background, including a deep understanding of the Microsoft .NET Framework, database design, message oriented middleware, XML, Web Applications and network communications. 
• Must be a passionate look and feel person when designing client-side applications.
• Strong exposure to market data distribution engines and API’s (TR, Bloomberg, etc.),
• Strong graphics programming ability in C# and native C++ (GDI) with graphing as a foundation.  Scale massive graphs using server side technologies. 
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing systems based on an Enterprise Service Bus design pattern.
• Knowledge of building server-side, real-time interactive service-based applications.
• Knowledge of how bringing a commercially viable product to market evolves and works.
• Have a deep understanding of technical and strategy based trading, coupled with order and execution management knowledge.  
• Understanding of algorithmic or quantitative techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop the front-end to the firm’s premier suite of trading applications.
• Work closely with Product Management and other development teams.
• Responsible for help setting the companies technology direction on the client-side as well as setting development, methodology, design and modeling standards.

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE TRAITS

• Experience with fast-paced development teams
• GUI and usability design experience
• Experience/exposure to multiple trade desk environments, e.g., equities, options, commodities and FX.
• Exposure to capital markets trading with detailed understanding of workflows, products and pricing conventions.
• Experience working with traders, sales and other business users as well as external clients to define requirements and review prototypes.
• Proven track record of implementing quality solutions while under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to be effective in an agile environment.

 The Business Develpment Executive (BDE) is responsible for establishing new business, developing current business relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. The BDE seeks and follows leads to acquire new business for her firm. She seeks out purchasing decision makers and develops working relationships with them. She designs and delivers presentations highlighting the products and services of her company. She negotiates contract terms with clients. She successfully closes sales. She works toward exceeding predetermined quotas set by her supervisor. She maintains contact with existing clients to obtain more business from them.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and delivery of product demonstrations.
• Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences and seminars.
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFI’s and RFP’s.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
•  Travel as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Must be self motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology.
• Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
• Strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in both oral and written responses to emails, RFP’s and when submitting reports to management.
